Description
On 9th October 2012, Uganda as Country celebrated fifty (50) years of Independence (Golden Jubilee) and these national celebrations were held at the newly Redeveloped ground at Kololo, Kampala.
The main objective of this Project was to provide a covered pavilion for the ordinary people by constructing a three (3) Bay Pavilion platform with a roof cover, a paved parade ground, Two (2) Monuments (Unknown Soldiers and Independence), External Ablution blocks and landscaping, and have them completed before Golden Jubilee celebrations of 9th October.
The pavilion also has 2,000m2 of office space currently in use by the National Identity Card Project.
